A look inside the journal

A Therapist-Created Guided Journal for Reclaiming Yourself, Understanding the Roles You Carry, and Moving Beyond Survival Mode

The strong one.

The responsible one.

The helper.

The peacemaker.

Over time, it can become easy to lose sight of who you are while trying to meet expectations, keep the peace, and become everything everyone else needs.

The Woman Beneath the Mask is a therapist-created guided journal designed to help you explore the roles you’ve learned to carry, understand where those masks came from, and reconnect with the woman who has been there all along.

Whether you’ve spent years people-pleasing, hiding your needs, shrinking yourself for others, or feeling disconnected from your authentic self, this journal offers a guided space to begin coming home to yourself.

This is more than a journal. It is an invitation to set down the roles you no longer need and reconnect with the woman beneath the mask.

Also included in The Thriving Circle. Members receive this PDF as part of the full digital library, $17 a month, cancel anytime. See what is inside the Circle

Who This Journal Is For

This journal was created for individuals who:

Feel they’ve spent years being strong for everyone else
Struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, or over-functioning
Feel disconnected from their identity or voice
Are tired of hiding how they truly feel
Want to better understand the roles they’ve learned to carry
Are healing from survival mode, burnout, or emotional exhaustion
Want therapist-created guidance for self-discovery and healing

Therapist’s Note

One of the most meaningful parts of healing is recognizing that the version of you who learned to wear the mask was never broken.

She was trying to survive.

She was trying to stay accepted, avoid conflict, protect herself, and keep going with the tools she had at the time.

But the mask was never meant to become your identity.

I created this journal to help you slow down, reflect, and begin separating who you truly are from the roles you’ve carried for so long.

You do not have to become someone new.

You are allowed to return to the woman who has been beneath the mask all along.
